Paraguayan guava cake from I Love Py. Bakery Cafe (on Greenpoint Ave b/w 42nd and 43rd Sts.). Brilliantly moist with a hint of buttery sweetness—firm shortbread crisscross, detectably homespun guava paste bursting with seedy fruit flava, and spongy and succulent cake.
