B filed his dreaded quarterly income taxes after a grumbly and all too dense bout with arithmetic, and we toasted festive 24oz. super size Beck’s greenies (courtesy of the Butcher Block, on 41st St. b/w Queens Blvd. and 43rd Ave.) in recognition of flushing another heaping percentage of his last three months’ income down the collective economic drain. And we even have to pay the postage. Fuckers.

Beck’s is an import from Bremen, Germany, and owns its Fatherland pride via only the purist barley malt, hops, yeast, and water. It’s light, but full-bodied. It gets ya drunk, but not too quickly. A classy brew, so to speak. And they play new-age techno on the website—if you’re not yet 18 but still wanna take a listen, g’head and type in your birthday as 01-02-1978. Tell ‘em mama sent you.
